Grant Overview
The ProVeg Grants program supports high-potential organizations committed to food system transformation. Since 2019, ProVeg International has awarded over 500 grants to organizations and individuals across more than 70 countries, offering both financial assistance and capacity-building support.
ProVeg Grants Benefits:
- Funding: Grants range from $5,000 to $50,000 annually. While ProVeg aims to support many quality proposals, funding is limited, and grant awards are at the sole discretion of ProVeg International.
- Expert Network Access: Grantees can tap into a network of over 200 experts in food system transformation.
- Personal Consultations: One-on-one consultations are available for grantees, focusing on organizational structure, strategy, impact initiatives, and other critical areas.
- Resources: Grantees receive various resources, including reports, research, webinars, and events throughout the year.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must focus on food system transformation and propose interventions such as:
- Engagement with schools and universities
- Influencing dietary guidelines
- Healthcare initiatives
- Food industry events
- Corporate engagement and rankings
- V-Label and labeling restrictions
- Political outreach and movement building
- Challenge campaigns and veg festivals
- Public outreach and social media initiatives
- Preference is given to proposals from outside the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Czechia, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Belgium, Nigeria, Malaysia, and the US.
- ProVeg does not support initiatives aimed solely at improving the welfare of farmed animals.
- Preference is also given to organizations led by and employing women, people of color, and other marginalized groups.
- Grantees must adhere to ProVeg’s values of safe spaces and respectful workplaces.
